Providing Excellent Dentistry

For the longest time, general dentists and their teams seemed like they all performed the same services, fixing and cleaning teeth. But dentistry is SO much more, and at Two Lights Dental we love what we do and can't wait to share our passion with you and your family!

For instance, did you know that as your dentist and hygienist team, we are the healthcare providers you see most frequently during the course of a year? Because of this, we are often your first line of defense when it comes to your health. While we are excellent at fixing and cleaning teeth, we also provide:

Comprehensive airway & sleep assessment & management

The foundation to being healthy and well is our ability to breathe correctly and get consistent quality sleep. These two seemingly simple and natural biological processes are in actuality something that at least 80% of us struggle to do well, which we now know is directly correlated with increased health risks and can ultimately become life-threatening if not treated. We are committed to helping you achieve an optimally functioning airway both during wake and sleep times for you to be at your healthiest.

Myofunctional Therapy

Myofunctional Therapy is an exercise based therapy for the muscles of your face, tongue and mouth that is designed to train proper breathing, swallowing, chewing and speaking patterns.

Non-surgical periodontal therapy

Many of us have heard our hygienists say, "Your gums are bleeding - you really need to floss more". Bleeding gums - no matter how little they bleed - is an indication that you may have a type of gum disease known as periodontal disease, which at least 60% of Americans suffer from. The bacteria that cause this has been directly linked to health issues (e.g., tooth and bone loss, Alzheimer's disease, diabetes, and more). Our highly trained team can diagnose and create a personalized plan around this disease in a way that combines in-office visits and at-home care, both designed to clean and disinfect under the gums to promote healing and prevent reoccurrences.

Prophylaxis Cleaning

A question we get asked regularly is, what is the difference between a "regular" (prophylaxis) cleaning and the periodontal maintenance cleaning. A prophylaxis cleaning is an above the gum line clean and polish that is used for people who do not have any gum disease otherwise known as periodontal disease.

Same Day Dentistry

Through the use of our Primescan and CEREC machines we are able to custom make crowns, veneers, and bridges that can be delivered same day or next without having to take gooey/goopy impressions and send them to an offsite lab.

Implants

Your quality of life matters most. Tooth replacement is about more than filling the gaps in your smile. It’s also about restoring your ability to chew properly, to speak with confidence, and to feel good about yourself. You want a restoration that is comfortable, permanent, and most importantly, undetectable. Dental implants allow the replacement of a single tooth or multiple teeth without relying on any adjacent teeth for strength or support.

Clear Aligners

Orthodontic clear aligners can help with a host of different symptoms other than just giving you a beautiful straight smile. Ask us about what options would be best for you.

Whitening

A nice white smile can really boost your confidence. We create custom whitening trays for you to use as a part of your daily life.

Personalization & Customization

You are a unique individual, and one-size-does not fit all. We value you and your family's wellbeing and have made sure that we use the latest technology and medical findings to ensure that your dental treatment plan is personalized to you.

We are able to do this because our team understands the fundamental link between your oral-systemic health and its effects on the rest of your body. Here’s how we do it:

DNA Bacteria & Saliva Testing

Our mouths have many different types of bacteria that live in them, most of which are healthy and useful to our systems. However, there are some strands that are destructive and linked to serious health concerns. During your hygiene appointments, we take very small samples of your saliva and plaque and test them both in-house using our phase contrast microscope, and by sending a sample to a lab to help us pinpoint specifically if/which set of the destructive bacteria strands you may have, thus allowing us to create a personalized plan that is unique to you.

Home Diagnosing Sleep Studies

We partner with The Vivos System® which is a multidisciplinary therapeutic protocol for the treatment of sleep disordered breathing including mild-to-moderate obstructive sleep apnea. Take this quiz to see if you are a candidate for this system.

3D Imaging

Having a CBCT allows us to take a 3D image of your teeth and face so that we can accurately diagnose any conditions that might not be able to be detected using regular digital x-ray images.

Digital Technology

Having access to digital technology such as our Primscan and SprintRay 3D printer means we are able to keep most dental cases in house without having to rely on sending cases out to a third party. This means less wait time and more savings for you.

In-House Membership & Financing

The question we get asked the most at the front desk is, "Will my insurance cover this?" So, we understand firsthand that finances play a huge part in helping to make the decisions that impact the health of you and your loved ones.

Our first goal is to help you to truly understand the impact your mouth and airway have on your health, both short and long term. The second goal is to help provide you with financial options that empower you to take back control of your healthcare so that you can decide the level of care that is best for yourself and your family. We do this by:

Providing a leading-edge in-house membership

In our office, insurance companies and middlemen don’t dictate what treatment you can or can’t receive. Which is why we strive to provide you with alternative options for you to receive the best care at our office even if you don't have dental insurance. Our membership plan is designed to help you with dental costs and to allow you to receive the dental care you truly deserve. Contact us to see if this is a good option for you and your family.

Working with 3rd Party Providers

Regardless of whether you have dental insurance or a part of our membership plan, we understand that sometimes the treatment you need can be more than you have budgeted for. We completely understand this which is why we also partner with some great 3rd party lenders that can help you financially achieve your healthcare goals.

Empowering you to understand your own dental insurance

Please know that while we are happy to file any necessary paperwork for your insurance and answer general questions, we truly believe that it is important for you to understand your benefit plan. Please reach out directly to them with any specific questions about your coverage. We are in-network with Delta Dental Premier plans and can help with filing claims for other dental insurance companies.
